1. What is it PleaseTakeMeTo.com?

   PleaseTakeMeTo.com is simple tool to help plan and book an Australian holiday. It contains over 500 location specific videos (around 11 hours worth) over 10,000 stunning photographs and some 24,000 listings for accommodation, tours, attractions, hire and more.

   It’s interesting, entertaining and lets you plan and book just about every aspect of your holiday all through the one, simple interface.

2. Why is it different?

   PleaseTakeMeTo.com is the first and only web site to provide such comprehensive, media rich content on Australian tourism. It includes well over 500 location specific videos (around 11 hours worth), over 10,000 high quality photographs and some 24,000 listings for accommodation, sightseeing and attractions, tours, hire options, transport, events and more.

3. Do I need broadband to use PleaseTakeMeTo.com?

   Pleasetakemeto.com is designed for a broadband Internet connection. Basically, the faster your connection, the better the experience.

4. I don’t have broadband. Can I still use PleaseTakeMeTo Australia?

   Yes. The site will function, but more slowly. If you have a dial up connection, we recommend that you order the PleaseTakeMeTo.com web linked DVD-ROM. It contains much of the video content of the website but draws new information to update itself from the web automatically when you are using it while on line. ??

5. How do I use the website??

   PleaseTakeMeTo Australia is geographically based. That means you can click a part of Australia on a map and explore have a look at all the features available in that area in detail. To start exploring Australia, simply click on a state and then a region within inside that state. This will show you locations and towns in that region. From here you can read about the locations, look at pictures and videos and find accommodation and attractions.

   As an alternative to using the maps, you can jump straight to states, regions and locations by using the drop down menus on the left hand side of the top menu bar.

6. How do I find accommodation??

   Once you are looking at a region, click on the ‘Accommodation’ button on the right-hand side of the top menu bar. This will show you a list of accommodation in that region. Click on any of the listings to read a description of the accommodation as well as finding booking details and pictures.

7. How do the Filter Options work?

   When looking at listings for accommodation, attractions or other services, you can apply filter options on the left of the web page. When you select an option or multiple options, only those results matching the option/s you have selected will be shown. Clicking on these options will minimise the list to those listings which only have the options you have selected. For example, if you select just ‘Self Contained’, only properties describing themselves as ‘self contained’ will appear in the list. If you were to select if you were looking at accommodation listings and your selected ‘4 star’, ‘3 star’ and ‘spa’, the list would only show 3 or 4 star accommodation with a spa.

8. How do I find Attractions, Tours, Transport or Events?

   Listings for Attractions, Tours, Transport, Events Hire work in exactly the same way as for ‘Accommodation’ Once you are looking at a region, click on the ‘Sightseeing/Activities’ button on the right-hand side of the top menu bar. This will show you a list of all the attractions in that region. ?

   On the left is a list, which says ‘Type: Attraction, Tours, Hire, Transport, Event’. Click on the appropriate type you are looking for and it will list everything available in that region. Click on any of the listings to read a description as well as finding booking details and pictures.

9. Why are some towns / locations on the map and some not?

   The towns and locations on are maps are those for which we have media, video, photographs and written information. We are constantly adding new locations and new media and information to PleaseTakeMeTo.com.

10. Can I have PleaseTakeMeTo.com video of my region on my web site?

    Yes. Click on the ‘Share Our Videos’ link on the right hand side of the website underneath the banners. You can select the region you would like the video for and then copy the html for that video straight into your own site.

11. How do I watch video?

    If video is available for a region, town or accommodation/attraction listing, then the “Video” button underneath the picture slide show on the right of the screen will appear in yellow. Click on the yellow “Video” button to watch the video. To watch the video at a bigger size, click “Zoom [+]”. This will take you to a new screen with a bigger version of the video. This video may take slightly longer to load. Click on the “click here to go back” link to go back to go the town or region information or accommodation/attraction listing.

12. How do I search?

    To search the website for a town, attraction or other tourism destination or service, click on the “Site Search” link underneath the PleaseTakeMeTo logo on the top right of the webpage. Once at the search page, click on the criteria you would like to search for. You can choose Locations, Accommodation, Attractions, Hire Companies, Tours, Events or Transport. Type in the name of what you’re looking for and click search. If what you are looking for is in PleaseTakeMeTo Australia or mentioned somewhere it will show up in the search results.
