What is the difference between the PleaseTakeMeTo Australia disk and website?
There are several key differences between the disk and the website. On location listings, the disk allows for video and images of a higher resolution and a much bigger size than the website. This high quality media is stored on the DVD itself, which means there is no download time. Accommodation and attraction listings still require download time as the media in these sections is constantly being updated. All media on the website is of a lower resolution to minimise download times. The website delivers the same information as the disc through a design which is suitable and more familiar to the common web surfer. The one significant addition on the website is the inclusion of Google Maps in the Accommodation and Sightseeing sections. These maps denote the geographical location of some listings.
